Chelsea recently booked a photo session with her loan horse Fern to create some special memories before she goes off to university. This was a lovely session for me as I have known Chelsea since she was a small girl. I even did a photo session for Chelsea many years ago alongside Chelsea's favourite pony at the time from Carrington Riding Centre - Penny. Chelsea is also one of my ex students and attended the college where I teach. Although I will be sad that Chelsea is no longer in my lessons, it's wonderful to see her going off to university. I met Chelsea at the private yard where Fern is stabled, set in beautiful Cheshire countryside. Chelsea initially chose a leather head collar for some of the inhand photos but Fern decided the grass was far too tempting and that she would quite like a picnic rather than pose for photos. So we switched to a bridle to give Chelsea a bit more control. After the initial snack on very tasty looking grass Fern more than redeemed herself and was beautifully behaved. Chelsea's little dog Muffin even joined in for some of the photos whilst Fern stood calmly. We were also able to get plenty of images of Chelsea riding Fern bareback.
