General
Where are you based?
I am based in Urmston, Manchester but am happy to travel to a location of your choice within 20 miles of M41, any additional mileage will be charged at 40p a mile.
How do I book a session?
You can book a session by messaging me via my Facebook Photography Page or through filling out the form on the contact page. We can then discuss convenient dates and the type of session you would like. A £15 deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit is non refundable.
What if the weather is bad?
In the event of rain, photo sessions can be rearranged to a time convenient for both of us. I will always check the weather forecast a couple of days in advance and then contact you to confirm or reschedule the session.
What should I wear/bring to my session?
Once you have booked your session I will send you a client guide with tips on outfit choices, what to bring to your session and how to prepare/get the most out of it If you need any further advice then I am always happy to help :)
How long will the session last?
Generally the photo sessions take around 1 - 1.5 hours (equine sessions might last slightly longer) but there is no time limit and with working with children and animals it may vary. I would advise not to schedule anything straight after the session so that things are relaxed and not rushed.
How long will it take before my images are ready to view?
Around 1-2 weeks
How many photographs will I get?
You will have around 30-40 images to choose from depending on the session. It is well known that working with children and animals can be unpredictable so I can not guarantee an exact number of images. From your viewing session you will be able to choose one digital image which is included in your session price, you will also be able to select any additional products you would like to purchase. Additional products start from £10.
Are you insured?
Yes, I hold full public liability insurance

Children
Is it possible for more than one child participate?
Yes, this is not a problem. It is £5 per additional child
What happens if my child is ill?
I am happy to rearrange if your child is poorly, I just ask that you let me know as soon as possible.
My child is quite shy, will they be ok?
Being a naturally shy person myself means I am able to relate if a child is feeling a little bit shy in front of the camera. I try and keep my sessions fun and will spend some time at the beginning getting to know your child and helping them to feel more relaxed.
What if my child doesn't behave during the session?
As the Mum of a 2.5 year old I am well aware that children may not behave how we want when the camera is turned on them. Don't worry I have plenty of patience!
Horses
How should I prepare my horse for the session?
Once you have booked your session I will send you my client guide with lots of tips on how best to prepare your horse for your session.
What if my horse wont stand still?
Please don't worry about that. I have experience working with many different breeds and types of horse. I have a flexible workflow, plenty of patience and a good sense of humour which is always useful!
I own more than one horse - it is possible to have images with both/all of them?
Yes of course - additional horse's can be added to the session for £10 per horse.

Dogs
Can my puppy be photographed?
Yes - absolutely! It does not matter if your puppy is not able to 'sit' or stay' - the photo sessions are about your puppy having fun and capturing their inquisitiveness and innocence. The session will take place somewhere that your puppy will be safe.
Is my dog too old?
There is no age limit to the photo sessions.
My dog can not go off the lead. Is this ok?
Although I do prefer to photograph dogs off lead, I understand there are situations where this might not be possible. In this case I can aim to remove the lead in post processing, however, there may be additional editing charges applicable
Can you come to my house?
Once covid restrictions have lifted it will be possible to have photo sessions in your garden at home. However, as this can be limiting to the variety of images I would only recommend having a home photo session if you dog is older with reduced mobility or if they are anxious in other locations.

Yes this is no problem - extra dogs can be added for £5 per dog.
